We’re looking for a Vice President of PR who can drive high-level media strategies, secure top-tier placements, and shape narratives that elevate our clients’ profiles. This role is for someone who has deep PR expertise, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys both building strategy and executing at the highest level.

What You’ll Do
Media Relations
- Secure top-tier media placements and features that build credibility and visibility for clients.
- Research and identify story angles, news hooks, and trends that connect client expertise with what reporters are covering.
- Pitch and maintain relationships with reporters, editors, and producers across business, healthcare, and technology media.
- Build and maintain tailored media lists per client.
- Draft press releases, media kits, and backgrounders that support client announcements.
Thought Leadership
- Write and place op-eds, bylined articles, and expert commentary.
- Craft LinkedIn-style thought leadership content for executives that resonates with their networks.
- Support podcast and speaking placements to expand client visibility.
- Identify relevant awards and recognition programs and manage submissions.
Client Coaching & Media Training
- Prepare clients for interviews, panels, and speaking engagements.
- Conduct media training sessions to build confidence and improve delivery.
- Provide live coaching and feedback during interview prep.
Strategy & Execution
- Build tailored PR strategies that align with client goals and industry trends.
- Drive creative campaign ideas that cut through the noise and secure attention.
- Manage and oversee PR deliverables across multiple accounts, ensuring high-quality and timely execution.
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of PR/communications experience, ideally in an company or startup-facing role.
- Proven ability to secure top-tier media placements (national, business, and trade outlets).
- Strong understanding of healthcare media and startup ecosystems (a plus).
- Excellent writing skills across press releases, pitches, op-eds, and LinkedIn content.
- Experience identifying and placing clients in podcasts, speaking engagements, and awards.
- Confident in media training and coaching executives for interviews and panels.
- Strong network of media contacts and proven ability to maintain and grow relationships.
- Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities.
